What Is reiki?

The word Ki or Chi has multiple meanings in Japanese tradition, it represents soil, blood or wisdom. In Chinese medicine Chi is  the vital energy or life force that permeates all living beings and the universe. In the Igbo tradition Chi refers to God.

I describe Reiki as the practice of utilizing somatic, ancestral and cosmic technology to preserve and raise your personal life force, your heritage and your divine energy.  

Reiki is an energy medicine. We are electric beings. At the base level, Reiki is a “laying of the hands” method for using our own electrical energy or Chi that each of us are able to cultivate to help ourselves and our loved ones heal day to day tension. 

On a deeper level Reiki is a vehicle programmed by the ancestors and the cosmos to help you self actualize through clear instructions and guidance. This intelligence guides you through the spiritual obstacles and karma operating in your spiritual body known as the chakras
